چکیده
Fibre metal laminates (FMLs) are lightweight structures with high structural performance and suitable for many industrial applications. This work describes the impact behaviour of novel sisal fibre-reinforced aluminium (SiRAL) their dependence upon orientations fibres, composite core used surface treatment skins. A cold-pressing technique is to produce SiRALs in six configurations. The FMLs here also have treated or untreated skins (2024 T3) three different types materials (0°/90° fabric, ±45° fabric random matt). SiRAL provides highest energy absorption deflection properties. pre-treatment using sandpaper, deep cleaning primer significantly affects delamination panels under bending impact. findings reveal that concept a promising multifunctional FML applications require lightweight, performance, together sustainability characteristics.

متن کاملMachining of Fibre Reinforced Plastic Composite Materials
Fibre reinforced plastic composite materials are difficult to machine because of the anisotropy and inhomogeneity characterizing their microstructure and the abrasiveness of their reinforcement components. During machining, very rapid cutting tool wear development is experienced, and surface integrity damage is often produced in the machined parts. An accurate selection of the proper tool and m...
